Here you can the find the current football value calculator. A brief explanation (more details below). Firstly decide how the 2 teams compare with one another (better, worse, etc), then fill in the odds that the bookie gives you, and hit Calc. After a moment the results are shown under the odds, giving you a comparison to the theorectical odds. A negative value indicates that the bookie has given the team better odds than the calculated theorectical odds, the larger the figure the better.

A More Detailed Explanation:-
Right this comparision calculator is based on the odds the bookies gives, and the theorectical odds. A quick google will give you how to convert bookies odds to percentage (and remove their markup - typically they calculate to 111%!). Now the odds i compare this to is a 47/27/26 (home win-draw-away win). This is a well known template, and if you look at hundreds of games, this hardly ever deviates. The only changes i have made so far is to use the better/worse variable to slightly change this as superior teams percentages do change a little. New development! Ive added a grudge/derby indicator, stats tell us that draws and away wins are more common, with this type of game, so ive added this variable in. Future developments will see maybe a weather condition (on the idea that inverse weather conditions are a leveller) and anything else that i find.
